Dear parents,
In room 5 this week we have been making posters to inform others of the importance of worms! On this poster the students had to complete a detailed, labelled diagram, list 4 adaptations, one fun fact about worms and 2 ways worms help the earth. They could also do a rap or poem for bonus points. Ask your child what they included in their poster. Please return all library books and any classroom books your child may have at home in preparation for the end of the year. For grade 4 students, we will be having our grade 4 farewell on Tuesday, June 26th. Weather permitting, we will walk with the Grade 4's to Carburn Park for pizza and a scavenger hunt. Grade 3's will be doing activities back at the school. This week in math, we have been working on division. The students have all been very motivated to attempt long division problems. Please have your child work on their multiplication facts in order to make the division process quicker and easier! We are having the talent show, this afternoon (Thursday) at 1:30 and Friday June 22 at 12:00. You should have received a notice to inform you if your child is performing. The last day of school is Wednesday, June 27th. The students will be dismissed at 1:20.
